Throw Them All Out

Veterans have millions of votes, we have fought for this nation, bled and died for it. We have a right and mission to care for America. What is happening inside our country is a call to action, we are losing our rights, we are seeing the Constitution trampled on by our government. It may be time to begin to clean house in 2010; elect those that love America, believe in a strong military and "winning" wars that we fight, and demand individual rights be upheld. Together Veterans can make a difference, it is our mission. Let our politicians know they serve at the pleasure of the people, and can be "thrown out".

Don't Tread on Me

During the revolutionary war, one of the many flags had the phrase "don't tread on me". It was a reminder of the individual rights that were being taken away by the British, and led to the conflict that gave birth to our great nation. Recently watching the film "John Adams", based on David McCullough's book on the beginning of America, it was became evident that we are experiencing a similar situation now with the spread of our own government and the taking away of individual rights. We are not fighting a foreign power, but we are in a peaceful revolution to combat those who would take away our individual rights, and create a society where the government is the provider; it stamps out initiative, degrades the individual, and will take us down a path to socialism or worse. Veterans swore an oath to uphold the constitution and defend this nation against enemies foreign and domestic. We have to speak up and be active in the political process; our mission is to defend our republic. There is a threat, and it must be stopped!

America Need Action

This blog has the mission of reminding veterans of their commitment to America, and has focused on the recent election and the war on terror. The war continues, we now have a President and Congress that have started the disarming process once again. This is a carbon copy of the years of President Carter. Most of us understand that expending dollars and resources each day in Iraq and Afghanistan depletes supplies; it is a time to increase the defense budget, not cut it. We are headed down a road that we have traveled before, veterans can help wake up our citizens to the threat. It seems that health care is the current hot button with Americans, and as veterans we should participate in that debate; however, our citizens must also awake and understand that unilateral reduction of our armed forces has never and will never work in a time of conflict. As Veterans we must speak out a warning to our citizens ; don't pass on this call to mission, enter the battle.

TIME TO STEP UP

Veterans have a special responsibility to our citizens, we all took a oath to protect and defend our constitution. There is proof of threats to our freedoms and rights as set forth by our founders. We need to consider the immigration issues, the financial burden being put on us and children against the people's wishes, and how we are conducting the war on terror. Our congress is not listening to the people; as veterans we need to voice our concerns and support the people. Play this video and decide how you will be involved.

100 Days of Change - Still a Mission

100 days of the new administration has shown us a picture of a new direction for our nation. It calls us to continue our mission to defend America in all arenas. There is evidence of a policy of appeasement and the reduction of our defense while we remain at war. There is government intervention in the busines and private lives of our citizens, it bears watching and preparing now for 2012.

ELECTION OVER, MISSION CONTINUES

We have a new Commander in Chief! However, the enemy has not changed, the mission must not change, and the war on terror goes on. Veterans and concerned Americans need to be involved and vocal if our nation is to survive. Active participation on all fronts to wake up our country from slowly passing into a "Pre-911" mentality. Write letters, vote smart, stay tuned in - your country needs you now more than ever.
