McCain Understands

John McCain understands what happened in Vietnam when America lost its political will because of a press that misrepresented the facts, and lied to the people. John McCain was there, he spent five years in Hanoi, and came home and watched it all go down. Vietnam vets can see the signs of a repeat of history in Iraq; we must sound the alarm and jump into this election by supporting Senator McCain in all ways possible. Get involved, write letters, hit the internet circuit; as a veteran you know the truth of what happened almost forty years ago, and because we love our nation, we need to do all we can to prevent those forces from doing it again in Iraq. The enemy today is different and focused on our homeland, we must win this war. Vets step up for one more mission.

I agree with you. It is like a chess game, but there is no stalemate or draw. You must win or lose. If we lose this game, we lose America. Stand strong and win!

Yes indeed. The problem is this though: we know, we talk, we write and yet, no one listens or reads. especially our "representatives". We may as well bark at the moon for all the stinking good it does. It's as if they have a "logic chip" missing.

But it's not the war itself, but moreover their agenda. I believe this is a useful tool for the leftists to wield in their objective of dismantling this Republic. They've got us reduced to looking over our shoulders for fear of recrimination or being ostracized if we speak truth. Being politically correct means accepting that today we must stifle free thought and expression, or be labeled. If you support the war, you're a "warmonger", if you want the borders secure, you're a bigot. If being homosexual doesn't strike you as mainstream, you're "phobic". A belief in God means you're a "bible-thumper". Freedom of speech means their speech, not ours.

I assure you, a Liberal, isn't. It's about control and power and the rest be damned. They've inundated us a a people for so damned long with distrust in our system, conspiracies and all the wrongs we, as nation, have supposedly done that the lie has become truth for too many. Take Barack Obama and his wife, John Murtha, John Kerry, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Jimmy Carter as examples. Things they've said are traitorous and give aid to our enemies. But YOU better not question their patriotism. if you do, you're not "PC"... no, you're a "NeoCon" or a fascist. These idiots haven't an American cell in their bodies. They've only been fortunate to have been born here - and can't see how they couldn't EVER get away with these slanders and lies anywhere else.

But try to get your representative to call them on their comments. Nothing. Never will be.

My view is we've transended the freedoms our Constitution guarantees. Our government is corrupted and incapable of governing itself, let alone governing the best interests of "we the people". I believe the only salvation of the United States requires far more dramatic action than elections will give us. We no longer have representative government. We have a "Political Class" of wealthy, aloof and arrogant despots and rogues. They, as a group,(with some too rare exceptions) are so far removed and so uninterested - and uncaring - about their offices, responsibilities and oaths and the people, it'll take violence to stop and reverse it.

What I'm saying is simply this, we fought for our independence for the same reasons - maybe less - and if we continue as we are, we'll no doubt have to do it again. It's that or we'll end-up sheep, and like "lambs to the slaughter" we'll go.
